18 U.S.C. § 2257
What it is
18 U.S.C. § 2257 is a United States record-keeping rule aimed at producers of explicit images and video that show actual human performers. It is why American sites keep IDs and age papers of the people on camera, and publish where those papers can be found.
Why it does not apply here in the usual way
Nobody performs here. What you get is made by an AI model from a photo, so there is no performer whose ID we would have to keep and no custodian of records to publish. To the extent our material is purely AI-generated, we treat § 2257 record-keeping as not applying to it.
The worry behind it, though, we do answer
No result shows a minor, every character is an adult, a photo of somebody younger is refused at the upload, and a result is not a portrait of a real person even when it was made from a photo of one. That is the substance people are actually asking about.
If that changes
If real footage with real people ever goes up, or the models start producing something the rule does cover, we re-check this and comply with whatever record-keeping or labelling then applies.
Where this sits
We are not in the United States. This page answers a US rule because US visitors use the site; it does not change the law in our Terms, which governs everything else.
